It was the 4th of July weekend and we all took a nice long break from writing about nonsense and stealing breaking news from other sites. (Though, I did break this news long before Kotaku did.)

In reality, we all have day jobs and we barely had the time and energy to write anything at all. Even though it’s summer for everyone else, the Unwound crew’s schedule feels like autumn. That doesn’t mean we’ve given up on the web site! We’re still going to deliver content to you, our faithful visitors, but please keep in mind that this is not our day job, though it would be cool if that were possible. (QQ)

First off, I’d like to apologize for getting rid of our forums. The forums might make a return in the future, so keep your fingers crossed! So, you must be asking, “why redesign the site?” and “didn’t you just redesigned the site a few months ago?” The answer is “why not?” and “yes.” Seriously, as much as I begrudgingly like our trusted forum/blog system, I think it’s time for a change. We now have a brand spanking new WordPress-based setup, complete with Twitter,  Feedburner and YouTube capabilities (thank you volunteer WordPress programmers!) With WordPress, blogging has never been easier and it should be a breeze to post more useless information to you, our visitors.

Please excuse the mess, as we migrate a few of our old posts and add new posts to the site. The Unwound show web site will be fully operational in a day or two. So sit back, relax and unwind! (See what I did there?)
